Mirch (2010)

Maanav is a struggling filmmaker who is adamant about sticking to his original script. Ruchi, his mother, is a professional film editor who sets up a meeting for him with Nitin, a producer. Nitin likes the script but isn't sure how well it would do at the box office. After that, Maanav tells a tale from the Panchtantra: Even if a woman is caught red-handed with her lover by her husband, she manages to get away with it! The story appeals to Nitin, but he believes it is too short for a feature film. Maanav then creates three more stories based on the same premise: the Panchantra tale moves through the film in various versions to modern times. A common thread runs through all four stories. Mirch follows this pattern, with four stories intertwined with the main plot.
