Mukti Bhawan (2017)

When Daya, a 77-year-old man, awakens from a strange nightmare, he realises that his time is up and that he must rush to Varanasi in the hopes of dying there and attaining salvation. Rajiv, his obedient son, has no choice but to abandon everything and accompany his obstinate father on his quest, leaving behind his wife and daughter. They check into Mukti Bhawan, a hotel for people who want to spend their final days there. For the first time in his life, Rajiv is forced to live with and care for his father. Though Rajiv juggles his duties at home, Daya blossoms in the hotel, where he finds a sense of community and a companion in the 75-year-old Vimla. As the days pass and Daya shows no signs of slowing down, Rajiv must decide whether to stay with his father or return home to fulfill his responsibilities. Rajiv offers his father a chance at redemption, but as family ties are tested, he is torn, unsure of what to do to hold his life together.
