New York (2009)

New York is a modern friendship tale set against the larger-than-life backdrop of a city that is frequently referred to as the world's centre. Omar (Neil Nitin Mukesh) has travelled abroad for the first time in his life, and he quickly learns to appreciate and love America through the eyes of his American friends, Sam (John Abraham) and Maya (Anushka Sharma) (Katrina Kaif). It tells the story of three friends who embark on a journey to explore a new world together. However, the world around them changes one day. Larger world events are just stories in the media for most of us, but they have the potential to change our lives forever. Lakhan Tamang (Danny Denzongpa) kidnaps Ram Mehra (Imran Khan) and offers him 200 million dollars to gamble in his game of chance. Other fortunate individuals participate in the game, including Major Jawan Pratap Singh (Mithun Chakrabarty), Shortcut (Chitrashi Rawat), Raghav (Ravi Kishan), and Ayesha (Shruti Hasan), with the luckiest taking home the entire pot. The rest of the game consists of a series of challenges in which the players' luck is tested at every turn.
