Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara! (2013)

This is the story of Shoaib (Akshay Kumar), an underworld don who murdered his mentor in the past (Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai) to gain power and is now the mafia king. His strength and influence have reached all the way to the Middle East today. Shoaib has transformed into a flamboyant, suave figure who is both feared and admired. Shoaib's only confidants are his best friend Javed, who manages his empire for him, and Mumtaz (Sonali Bendre), a former lover who is now his closest friend. He often visits the impoverished Muslim neighbourhoods where he grew up, and it is during one of these visits that he meets Aslam (Imran Khan). Aslam eventually becomes one of his favourites after he takes him under his wing. Shoaib wants to take charge of Bombay fully, but two existing ganglords, Vardha and Arun, oppose him. Vardha and Arun team up with a cop named Sreenu, whose sole aim in life is to put an end to Shhaib's reign, for which he happily joins forces with the gangsters. As they continue to be enamoured with Bombay, Shoaib meets a young actress named Yasmin (Sonakshi Sinha). Her freshness, grace, and candour instantly captivate him. Slowly but steadily, his attraction to Yasmin develops into an obsession. This causes a schism between Shoaib and Aslam, culminating in a showdown between mentor and protege.
