Pandu (2021)

Pandu and Mhadu are two small-time stand-up comedians from a small Maharashtra village who grab the attention of Babasaheb Pathare, a strong politician who has always been a target of competing parties. Because Pandu and Mhadu's performance inspires him and they are in need of work, Babasaheb promises them jobs in the Mumbai police force after they play as cops in the skit. The police force does not approve of them joining the force without first receiving sufficient training. They both pass their training and join the police service as Pandu Hawaldar and Mhadu Hawaldar, with Mhadu being a dishonest cop who accepts bribes. Pandu, on the other hand, is a good cop who becomes well-known after arresting several offenders in a row. Pandu meets and marries Usha Keliwali, a lovely woman, with the blessings of their families and Babasaheb. But things do not appear to be as they appear, as whatever is going on in Pandu's life appears to have been pre-planned by someone who wants to get rid of Babasaheb by making Pandu a scapegoat because he is his valued aide.
