Pinjar (2003)

Pinjar is based on the novel of the same name by Amrita Pritam. The plot is set during the pre-independence period and revolves around a Hindu girl who is abducted by a group of Muslims in order to exact vengeance. The narrative then depicts the girl's embarrassment and difficulties.
