Prithipal Singh... A Story (2015)
The film follows the life of Prithipal Singh, one of India's greatest hockey players, and is based on a true story. Prithipal, a partition survivor, goes on to become the best penalty corner converter in the world, winning three Olympic medals in the process, including the gold medal in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Prithipal enters the Punjab Agricultural University as the head of student welfare after leaving hockey after winning a bronze medal at the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games. Prithipal finds himself caught between two student organisations and his own set of values when he is accused of murdering a student, sparking a deadly blood feud.
