Road To Sangam (2010)

A simple tale about Hashmat Ullah (Rawal), a God-fearing, devout Muslim mechanic who has been entrusted with the task of fixing an old V8 Ford engine, unaware that it once held Mahatma Gandhi's ashes, which were submerged in the holy river Sangam. He finds himself in a difficult situation after a powerful bomb explodes in his area, resulting in the arrest of innocent Muslim youth in his neighbourhood. The influential leaders of his group (Om Puri, Pavan Malhotra) have called a work stoppage to protest the police's unfair treatment of those detained youth. Will he join the protest and abandon the engine repair, or will he go against his community's wishes?
