Samrat & Co. (2014)

Dimpy Singh, a young, pretty, and wealthy woman, approaches private investigator Samrat Tilakdhari (Rajeev Khandelwal) with a strange case. Their garden was destroyed for reasons that seem natural but are unknown; leading horticulturists investigated the fading plants but were unable to determine the likely cause. Furthermore, her father's beloved horse died prematurely; once again, the cause of death is unknown. That's not all; her father, Mahendra Pratap Singh (Girish Karnad), was once a powerful and balanced man, but his health has been deteriorating. When both of these elements are combined, the case sounds strange, which attracts Samrat's attention. Samrat pays a visit to Mahendra Pratap Singh's vast estate with his assistant friend Chakradhar Pandey. As he begins his investigation, he uncovers a slew of strange details. The plot thickens when a murder occurs in the home, setting in motion a chain of events that further complicate Samrat's situation. Every character in the scene seems to be concealing something. How can Samrat solve the puzzles? Will there be more questions to solve when he's on the case? Is the case going to be solved?
