Isn't it true that the more you hate something, the more likely it is to come to you? That is exactly what happens to Anuradha Sehgal after she marries Vivek Chauhan, the aspiring Chief Minister of Mumbai, despite his reputation as an unorthodox and spirited politician. However, it is only after she has married him that she realises that she was mistaken; he turns out to be a domineering, abusive husband and stereo-typically corrupt politician.
