Shaandaar (2015)
At an exotic castle in Europe, a big fat Shaandaar Indian wedding is taking place, which is essentially a business merger between two of India's most powerful business families. Mrs. Kamla Arora, the Arora family's grandmother and the sole owner of the billion-dollar company and land, is planning their wedding. Kamla Arora is a shrew who treats everyone, including her three sons Bipin, Vipul, and Vinay, as servants. Mr. Fandwani, the groom's father, is a noisy Sindhi businessman who is the antithesis of Kamla Arora: The Fandwanis dress in gold, accessorise in gold, and drink and eat gold if it were possible. A love triangle between Aliya, Jagjinder Joginder, and Bipin (Aliya's father) is set against the backdrop of the Shaandaar wedding. Aliya is a dreamer, but her dreams are wacky, and Jagjinder Joginder is a doer who can make something happen! Bipin despises Jagjinder Joginder for obvious reasons. Shaandaar follows Aliya, Jagjinder Joginder, and Bipin through a tumultuous and luxurious wedding. It's a love story straight out of a fairy tale that everybody has fantasised about!
