Kartik, a middle-class family member, purchases a television from Chor Bazar that turns out to be malfunctioning. Kartik discovers gold money while attempting to repair the television. He gives the gold to the cops and receives a 10% commission for his honesty. When the gold coin smuggler arrives at Kartik's house, things take a humorous turn.
