Sukhmani (2010)

Major Kuldeep Singh, an officer in the Para Batallion, is the protagonist of Sukhmani. He loses his wife and daughter in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, as luck would have it. He continues to continue his duty in order to stay sane, despite the fact that he is traumatised by the loss. He returns to fighting for his country, fueled by a renewed desire to avenge his family. When he meets Reshma, a woman who has been shunned by society, he decides to defend her. The film is about how, whether we like it or not, we often have to make decisions that are always embraced by society.
