Swami (2007)

After selling their ancestral home in a village, Swami, Radha, and their child relocate to Mumbai. They get their child admitted to a school in Mumbai that caters to children from wealthy families. All is well before Radha becomes sick and is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Swami begins to work overtime in order to collect funds for the operation, but Radha spends the entire sum on a chair that Swami adores. Radha has only one wish for the child: that he settle down in America one day. The rest of the storey revolves around Swami's efforts to realise his dream.
