Sweetiee Weds NRI (2017)

Sweetiee Desai is a 22-year-old Gujarati girl who is the daughter of a wealthy Vadodara businessman. Her father is a wonderful man with one goal in mind: to marry his daughter to an NRI from England. He needs to see his daughter settled in the UK because he was deported from the UK several years ago. He arranges her marriage with the son of a family acquaintance, only to discover that he has eloped with a white woman! Disappointed, he decides to find a match for her anyhow and uses marriage portals to do so. The daughter is head over heels in love with a local boy in his final year of Mass Communication who is not an NRI. She has given up faith in him and is prepared to marry whoever her father chooses for her. Will Sweetiee, on the other hand, marry the boy of her father's choice? Will her true love return and reclaim her? Will the original groom's father be okay with it? What, more specifically, is his situation as an NRI son-in-law?
