Tahaan (2008)

'Tahaan - A child with a grenade' is a fable-like journey of the titular eight-year-old boy, whose life revolves around the discovery of true meaning in his small world. With the unrest in Kashmir as a backdrop, Tahaan embarks on a journey to retrieve his beloved donkey, which was taken as payment for his poor family's debts and has been confiscated. There, he is attracted to a cruelty he is unable to comprehend.
