Following Osama bin Laden's mysterious death, the CIA hires a Bollywood director under the guise of making a Hollywood film. The true motivation is to make a fake tape to confirm Osama bin Laden's death. When a Pakistani terrorist group hijacks the plan to prove that Osama bin Laden is still alive, the operation goes awry! Tere Bin Laden - Dead or Alive is a first-of-its-kind sequel to Tere Bin Laden, as the first and second films' plots are linked but not in chronological order. The nature of the film prevents it from being classified as a traditional sequel, which is why it is not referred to as part two. It's what's known as a spin-off, and it's the first of its kind.
