Thanks Maa (2010)

Municipality, a 12-year-old street kid on the run from the reformatory, discovers and saves a two-day-old abandoned baby from being prey to a vicious street dog. He couldn't find any takers among the responsible and decent people he knew. The municipality assumes responsibility for locating the mother of the abandoned child. From here on out, he fights in the Mumbai urban jungle with just four of his street mates on his side: Soda (15), Sursuri (10), Cutting (8), and Dhed-Shaana (6), and the rest of the world seemingly against him.
