Traffic (2016)

A road trip from Mumbai to Pune is the setting for this emotional thriller. The intricate plot revolves around a day in the lives of a group of people who are at the same traffic junction in Mumbai city at the start of the day, and how their fates become intertwined due to an incident. The film tugs at our hearts as a police car races from Mumbai to Pune to deliver a live heart (organ) in time to save the life of a 13-year-old girl. The police chief, who has to handle the entire logistics and practicalities of the journey, a tainted police constable who seeks redemption, a vain celebrity who confronts the reality of his personal life, and a young doctor who is stuck in a bind, to name a few characters, are all involved in this gripping task.
