From childhood, Rishi (Ritesh Deshmukh) and Anju (Genelia D'Souza) have been best friends. They were born in the same hospital on the same day. Their parents are both neighbours and best friends. Rishi and Anju are inseparable, to the point that they are enrolled in the same college and class. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza made their debut in this film, which is a remake of Kamal's Malayalam blockbuster Niram.
