Veerappan (2016)

Veerappan is a thriller based on the events leading up to Operation Cocoon, which aimed to apprehend or kill Indian bandit Veerappan. The plot revolves around a group of police officers led by Kannan searching for Veerappan. Kannan is a rule-breaker who is able to break them as long as Veerappan is apprehended. The plot of Operation Cocoon starts right away in the film. The Commander of the Tamil Nadu Special Task Force, Vijay Kumar, the mastermind behind Veerappan's final attack, was in charge of this campaign. The story follows the team's efforts to apprehend Veerappan. Kannan hires Priya to befriend Muthulakshmi in order for the STF to get closer to her husband Veerappan. Vikram, a suspended IB agent, is on a special mission with his wife Amrita. They hope to unintentionally become entangled in this evil network. What might be the motivation for wanting to be abducted on purpose? What is the strategy? In this enigmatic journey, what will they gain or lose? As Vikram discovers that all of the shocking clues they find during their quest are all connected to one person - Fredrick - the story takes a surprising and unexpected turn.
