Via Darjeeling (2008)

Ankur (Kay Kay Menon) and Rimli (Sonali Kulkarni), a newlywed couple on their honeymoon in Darjeeling, are central to the plot. Ankur, however, vanishes on the eve of their return to Calcutta. The in-charge inspector, Robin Bose, conducts extensive searches, but Ankur is nowhere to be identified. Inspector Bose narrates this storey to a few friends two years later; they are fascinated by the storey and challenge him about the result. Yet he is deafeningly quiet. On a rainy night, the friends begin gossiping, bantering, and debating the mystery of the absent husband. Intrigued by this storey, they begin a storey about the potential result, and each joins in offering their own versions in which characters, themes, and careers alter. The past and future resurface, and the characters in the room merge into the plot, making it a different twist each time.
